Kenneth A. Nelson of Chadds Ford

Kenneth A. Nelson, 59, of Chadds Ford, died Feb. 20, at home. Born in Chester, he was a longtime resident of Chadds Ford, PA. Ken graduated from Garnet Valley High School. He was an auto mechanic working at one time for Church's Auto in Ridley Park and Car Care in Chadds Ford.

Ken was known for his "Little Red Chevy Express" where he not only enjoyed driving it but entering it in local car shows. He also enjoyed fishing and playing pinochle. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Nelson Jr., brother, Chuck Nelson and stepfather Franz Herrmann.

Ken is survived by his mother, Estella F. Herrmann, niece, Kristina Darnall, nephew, Chaz Nelson and cousin, Michael Logue. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, 9-10 a.m. at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a celebration of life at 10 a.m. Interment, Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills.
