Iron Hill Brewery is finishing 2019 in a giving way. Through the year-round Triple Chocolate Hill charity initiative that supports both CureSearch for Children’s Cancer and local charities, in tandem with partnering with the Veterans Multi-Service Center and the Upstate Veterans Alliance during Veterans Day, Iron Hill raised more than $65,000 in charitable contributions, to be allocated to multiple different organizations.

The Brandywine Business Network will not be meeting Dec. 24 or Dec. 31 because of the holidays. The group’s net meeting will be noon, Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Shoo Mana’s, 66 E. Street Road (at the intersection of Routes 2926 and 202).

The Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting to discuss last year’s performance and to give out awards on Jan. 16, 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Hartfeld National Golf Club in Avondale.
