No-kill rescue gets funds for new center

Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary, secured a significant matching-funds donation pledge from a local, anonymous donor, bringing the rescue closer to its goal of building a new indoor adoption center at the farm. Trick or treating postponed in WC

West Chester Borough officials have postponed Halloween trick or treating to Friday night, Nov. 1 from 6-9 p.m. because of rain expected for Thursday night. AccuWeather is currently calling for rain throughout most of the day Thursday, through the afternoon, followed by cooling temperatures, wind and heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Police Log Oct. 31: $10K confiscated in drug bust
