Flu shots at UHS

Unionville High School has partnered with Chester County Health Department to serve as one of their Flu Vaccine Clinics this year. All families and members of the community are encouraged to attend and receive a flu vaccine from the Health Department.

No appointment is needed. Vaccine consent forms will be available onsite the day of the clinic. Consent forms can be completed ahead of time and can be found in English here  and in Spanish here. Forms must be completed prior to the clinic in cases where the legal parent or guardian will not be present for the vaccination of their child (6 months to 17 years).

Two types of flu vaccines will be available at the clinic: Regular 4-strain flu shots (for people aged 6 months and older) and Fluzone High Dose flu shots (for people aged 65 years and older).

Individuals with private health insurance should bring their cards for billing. For those without insurance or with insurance that does not cover the flu vaccine, a regular 4-strain flu shot will be provided at no cost. Children with Medical Assistance insurance plans will also receive the vaccination at no cost.
