Suspects sought in thefts from cars

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an incident where an unknown black male broke into a locked vehicle by shattering the passenger side window. He then stole two purses located inside the vehicle, according to the report. Shortly after, an accomplice — identified as Tara Stanley, of New Jersey — used the victim’s credit cards at multiple locations to obtain approximately $3,150 worth of gift cards.

Police from the Media barracks have an arrest warrant for Stanley and are attempting to locate her.

“We are also attempting to identify and locate the male subject in the photos,” said Lt. James Hennigan. “These subjects are suspected in a series of thefts from locked vehicles in various parking lots in Concord Township and Middletown Township.”

Anyone with information on these subject’s whereabouts is asked to contact PSP Media at 484-840-1000.

Police are also reminding people to secure all bags, purses, and other valuables out of plain sight in their vehicles.
