A motorcycle was stolen in Chadds Ford Township in mid-August. According to a state police report, the suspect, described only as a black man wearing a blue shirt and gray shorts, presented himself as a buyer for the bike, a red Honda CR 250. The incident occurred on Aug. 10 at 10:57 p.m., at Newark Road and Gap Newport Pike, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Witcher, police said they were met with a cloud of smoke and an overwhelming odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
