Patricia Emily Hoot Kresge, 82, of Chadds Ford, formerly of Stroudsburg, died Monday, Aug. 20.
Born in Bryn Mawr, Pat was the daughter of the late Rowland Hoot and Florence (Haven) Hoot. She was the beloved wife for 61 years of David Batten Kresge; mother of Valerie Haven Kresge, Pamela Miles (Martin) Misciagna, and the late Wendy Dixon Kresge Wick; sister of Charles (Sara) Kendall Hoot, Pamela (William) Hoot Hoy and the late Rowland Haven and Nancy Hoot; grandmother of David Martin and Luke Francis Misciagna and Skyler Emily and Josh Settle Wick.
Also survived by her son-in-law, Jack Borden Wick III. A memorial service is Saturday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church, 101 Old Kennett Rd., Wilmington. Reception to follow. Condolences and memorial contributions at www.longwoodfuneralhome.com
