Chadds Ford Democrats are also encouraged to vote on November 7. Delaware County has 6 outstanding Democratic candidates running at the county level. Brian Zidek and Kevin Madden, experienced businessmen, are running for more openness and accountability on County Council, with no tax increases.

Kelly Eckel, candidate for Court of Common Pleas, is an experienced commercial litigator and sought-after arbitrator. She is the only candidate for judge who has actually heard and resolved legal cases.

Jerry Sanders, who is running for Sheriff, worked for 24 years as Deputy Sheriff in Philadelphia. He now lives in Upper Darby.

Joanne Phillips is a commercial real estate attorney and former Director of the PA Bureau of Real Estate with an annual expenditure of over $108 million. She is prepared to do in-depth audits of the county finances and spending.

Mary Walk, candidate for Register of Wills, is an attorney, Certified Mediator, and an arbitrator. She has served her local community of Swarthmore in several positions. She is currently on Swarthmore Borough Council.
