I get along with some dogs, but I have to choose which ones. I also prefer to be in a home with older kids. I’m neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped, so I’m ready to get outta here. That’s Spanish for “my name is Bacardi.” I’m approximately 1-1/2 years old and I came to the Brandywine Valley SPCA all the way from Puerto Rico through a program called Operation Breathing Room. Back where I’m from, 92 percent of animals in shelters get euthanized, so I’m very grateful to the SPCA for giving me a second chance. I’m spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on my vaccinations. I’ve made a long trek here, and I’m hoping you can give me a place to finally call home. Won’t you come in and meet me today?

Hi, my name is Matteo. I’m a 2-year-old tabby hailing from beautiful Puerto Rico. I came to the Brandywine Valley SPCA through the Operation Breathing room program.
