Roadwork for Feb. 11 through Feb. 17

PennDOT has announced the following road projects, which are weather-dependent and could affect residents in the greater Chadds Ford area during the week of Feb. 11 through Feb. 17. Motorists are urged to allow extra time if they are traveling through one of the construction zones.

• A detour will be in place on Route 926 beginning Monday, Feb. 13 through Sept. 1 due to the replacement of the Route 926 bridge over the Brandywine Creek between Pocopson and Birmingham townships.

• Lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 842 between Blue Rock Road and Red Lion Road in Pocopson Township, for Monday, Feb. 13, and Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for crack sealing.

• Expect lane restrictions on Route 3 between Glen Avenue and Falcon Lane in West Goshen Township on Feb. 13 and 14 due to digging.

• The testing an overhead message board will close the right lane of the Conchester Highway between Cherry Tree lane and the Route 452 off-ramp between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 16.

• Utility installation will cause lane closures on Route 1 in Pennsbury Township between Elmwood Drive and Bowman Alley from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the week of Feb. 7-14.

• Green Valley Road, between Powell and Brandywine Creek roads, in Newlin Township, remains closed for bridge repair. Detours are posted.
