The critters – whimsical creations handcrafted with all-natural materials by volunteers – are returning to the Brandywine River Museum of Art.

These beloved, decorative, tree ornaments and tabletop decorations offer a fun gift for environmentally-minded recipients. Made from materials such as dried flowers, pinecones, seeds, pods, and berries, they will be available from Friday, Dec. 2, through Sunday, Dec. 4.

Choose from over 10,000 critters. Prices range from $5 to $25 with specialty items starting at $30. Cash, check, and credit cards will be accepted. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Museum Volunteers’ Art Purchase Fund, and Art Education and Programming at the museum, according to museum officials.

The Brandywine River Museum of Art features an outstanding collection of American art housed in a 19th-century mill building with a dramatic steel and glass addition overlooking the banks of the Brandywine. The museum is open daily (except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and over, $6 for students and children ages 6 to 12; free for children 5 and younger and members. The museum is located on Route 1 in Chadds Ford. For more information, call 610-388-2700 or visit brandywinemuseum.org.
