Images found on the computer of Walter T. Irwin, 42, of Upper Chichester, included images of a female child in Lion King pajamas between 8 and 10 years old engaging in a sex act with an adult male, said a press release from the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office.

On June 7, detectives from the Delaware County Internet Crimes Task Force ICAC and the FBI executed a search warrant at Irwin’s home on suspicion of child pornography. Irwin, who was home at the time with his wife, told detectives he wanted to speak with them upstairs. He then admitted to possessing child pornography on his computer but told detectives that he had removed the file-sharing program, the release said.

Following a forensic examination, 39 images and 11 videos found on Irwin’s devices were confirmed as child pornography. He has been charged with possession and dissemination of child pornography and the sexual abuse of children as well as the criminal use of a communications facility, the release said.

Irwin, who is being represented by defense attorney Scott L. Kramer, was released on $150,000 unsecured bail set by Magisterial District Judge Diane M. Holefelder, who placed him on electronic home monitoring with GPS. He was ordered to surrender his passport, have no Internet access, no contact with minors and to complete a psychological and sexual evaluation. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 23, court records said.
