The County Studio Tour has been showcasing artists from Chester County for the past five years – a successful, much-anticipated event that will now be repeated in Delaware County.
The inaugural Delaware County Studio Tour will encompass the picturesque environs of Delaware County and will include 45 artists. They will exhibit their work at 17 studios throughout the county on Saturday, Oct. 15, and Sunday, Oct. 16.
The Delaware County Studio Tour invites friends, families, art enthusiasts and the curious to experience and meet a variety of diverse professional artists. Visitors, who can travel to studios at their own pace, will get free, unlimited access to the artists and a clearer understanding of their stories and creative processes.
As with the Chester County Studio Tour, participating artists will each create a six-inch by six-inch piece of original art that will sell for $75, an effort to make the work more accessible and affordable.
