Hospital gala to be held at Longwood Gardens

Fresh off its win as the best botanical garden in America in an online survey, Longwood Gardens will provide the setting for the Chester County Hospital Gala, a 30-year-plus tradition.

The event on Saturday, April 16, offers an opportunity for friends of Chester County Hospital to celebrate its mission and support community outreach programs. The volunteers of the Gala Committee have worked for a year to make the gala a great success, according to a hospital press release.

Rick's Café Pre Party, billed as a “tasting of Chester County treasures,” will take place at Galer Estate Vineyard & Winery from 5:45 to 7 p.m. Parking and trolley transportation will be available at Longwood Gardens, the release said.
