Marcia K. Tarra , 71, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of West Chester, died on March 25.

Born in 1944 in Chester, she was the youngest daughter of the late John A (Smitty) and Mary Kaminski. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA (1962) and attended Goldey-Beacom College, Wilmington. She worked 20 years as manager of Penn Wood Elementary cafeteria in West Chester.

A beloved wife to Anthony (Teddy) John Tarra of 49 years, the loving mother to daughter Lynn Marie and grandson Aaron Langnas, her eldest son Anthony E. and his wife Julie Tarra, and her youngest son Robert (Bobby) J. Tarra; and her three siblings, sisters Alexandra (Sandy) Kaminski Landmesser and twin sister Marlene E. and husband Anthony (Tony) Ritts, and brother John A. Kaminski, Jr. and wife Kris, and countless other family members.

She enjoyed life the most as a member of Msgr Francis J. Desmond Columbiettes Council 13348 and Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge along with the "occasional" bingo and casino run with her son Bobby and sisters, dancing, enjoying seafood (crabs), garage sales, and being with her grandson and her entire family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, March 31, 2016 8:30-10:45 a.m. at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, and to her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, c/o Lynn (Tarra) Langnas, 1522 Overhill Rd, West Chester, PA 19382. Please write in the memo field Marcia K. Tarra. Donations will be used to support the facility and provide a memorial brick in her name at the facilities "Pathway of Memories".
