Rollin Wilber will give a free performance courtesy of the Hadley Fund on Sunday, April 3.

In his salon-styled concerts and workshops, Wilber focuses on creative programming and an emphasis on a deeper level of listening and musical understanding of performance. It is his intent to promote insight to the music that more actively involves the audience in each piece. For this performance, he will be playing a mix of Schubert, Debussy, Brahms and Chopin, according to a Hadley press release.

The performance will take place on Sunday, April 3, at 2 p.m., at Kennett Friends Meeting, the release said.

For more than 50 years, the Hadley Fund has been bringing free lectures and performances to the region. The program started in 1962 when Hal Holbrook presented “A Night with Mark Twain.” Other performers have included Martin Luther King Jr., Linus Pauling, Julius Erving, Marian Anderson, Alex Haley, Ogden Nash and Gloria Steinem.

All Hadley Fund events are free and open to the public, but tickets are required. For more information, call 610-444-1855 or visit www.HadleyFund.org. Event registration is available at HadleyFund.TicketLeap.com.
