Police: Armed robbers hit W. Goshen motel

The Microtel Inn and Suites, located off of Route 202 in West Goshen Township, was the site of a gunpoint robbery on Monday, Sept. 14, said police.

Two Microtel employees reported that at 2:47 a.m., two black males entered the hotel at 500 Willowbrook Lane through its unlocked front doors; one of the men displayed a large chrome semiautomatic handgun and demanded money. Both men fled in an unknown manner and direction with an undisclosed amount of cash, said a press release from the West Goshen Township Police Department.

Both males were described as being in their 20s and wearing dark-colored hooded sweat shirts. The first suspect was also wearing a royal blue New York Mets or Yankees baseball cap, blue jeans, white basketball-style sneakers with a dark-colored sole and white latex gloves, the release said.

The second suspect was wearing a blue hoodie with the word “Nike” printed in large letters across the front, dark jeans, black sneakers with a white sole and white latex gloves.
