Police said that Christine M. Marcano sold prescription pills to a 36-year-old female in the Racquet Club Apartments and that the female overdosed and required medical treatment.

During the investigation, which also involved the Chester County Municipal Drug Task Force, a police officer purchased  prescription pills from Marcano for $100 on Aug. 11, and $160 on Sept. 1. Immediately after this drug delivery, members of the police department executed a search warrant at Marcano’s East Goshen Township apartment, and she was arrested. Police said an additional amount of acetaminophen/oxycodone was seized from the home.

Marcano faces charges that include felony drug delivery and criminal use of a communication facility. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Maisano, who set bail at $20,000 unsecured. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 9, court records said.
