Thomas R. Cappie, 71, of Kennett Square, died April 24.
Born in Philadelphia, He was the son of the late Thomas J. and Pauline T. Cappie (nee Sader). Thomas attended Monsignor Bonner and Saint Joseph's University. He was self-employed as a general contractor.
Thomas was the beloved husband of Janet C. Cappie (nee Carrozzino); loving father of Lisa Cappie Holahan (Patrick), Thomas R. Cappie Jr. (Jeneen) and Jenny C. Blaxland (Tom). Dear brother of Carol Azpell (Walter) and Barbara J. Donahue (Donald). Devoted grandfather of Jay, Emily, Jeff, Julia and Finn.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, May 1, 9:45 – 10:30 a.m. at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike Newtown Square, PA 19073 (610)-353-6300 and his funeral mass 11 a.m. at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square PA 19073.
Interment Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery.
