Police Log Oct. 16: Gun stolen from car in Concord; burglary in Pocopson

• State police are investigating the theft of a sidearm and an iPad from a car parked on Smithbridge Road in Concord Township on Oct. 11. An undisclosed amount of cash was also stolen, a report said.

• Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cesar Sotelo, 37, of Vineland, N.J., for DUI on Oct. 12. A report said Sotelo was observed committing several traffic violations on Route 202 near Johnson Farm Lane at 4:06 a.m.

• State police from Troop J, Avondale barracks, are investigating a burglary on Molly Lane in Pocopson Township. A police report said someone entered the home through an unlocked rear door, went to the master bedroom, and stole jewelry and a safe before fleeing in an unknown direction. The incident happened sometime between 7:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 11.

• Benjamin E. Lambert, 27, of Exton, was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop on Route 202 at Dilworthtown Road on Oct. 15, a police report said. Charges are pending.

• One driver was cited for following too closely after a three-vehicle accident on Conchester Road in Concord Township on Oct. 9. No injuries were reported.

• Linda Renee Schiavo, 34, of Newark, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Route 202 at Naaman’s Creek Road on Oct. 9.
