Hello there, my name is Maisy and I'm a 10-year-old spayed female gray tabby. I was surrendered to the Chester County SPCA because my owner passed away. I lived with my owner my whole life so it was a sad time for me and I felt all alone. But the kindness of the staff and volunteers helped me acclimate to my new surroundings. I am now a favorite here at the shelter and nothing will make my human friends, and me, happier once I belong to a new family! I'm an older gal and I have a very mellow personality. I'm a little shy when I first meet new people but I will warm up in no time as soon as I'm shown love. I like to curl on the laps of people and I also enjoy belly rubs. I love receiving attention and I have a wonderful purr. Because of my gentle nature, I will do best in a quiet home as the only pet. Please give me the chance to show you how loving I am.
