The KAU Little League 14U squad recorded a two-game sweep of West Bradford to win the District 28 Junior International Tournament.
In the 7-4 championship game, Jack Adams and David Mercner each collected three hits and scored five runs between them. Robbie Schofield and Noah Kirkland had two RBIs each. Winning pitcher Owen Dougherty allowed two runs over three innings before KAU closer Zack Kennedy put away the final 12 outs to record the save. In the Thursday game, pitcher Noah Kirkland held West Bradford to just three hits and one earned run, while striking out three during his five and two-thirds innings of work. Aidan Schmidt went 3-for-3 at the plate.
