Michaelene Patricia Llewellyn, 65, of West Grove, died Wednesday July 2, in West Grove.

Born in Angola, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and the late Regina (Socoloski) Llewellyn.

She enjoyed cooking, knitting, many types of music, travel, was an avid reader, and was an expert at needlepoint and crochet. Among the greatest of joys in her life were her nieces and nephews, whom she spent much time with and on whom she doted.

Michaelene had a varied and rigorous career as a nurse, working in cardiac and intensive care as well as in clinical research as a professional in both academia and industry.  She was known to family, friends, and colleagues for her kind heart and endless generosity.  Her cheerful, positive spirit impacted and inspired many.  She will be sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection.

Survivors include one brother, William and his wife Karen of SanJose, Calif.; two sisters, Kathleen and her husband Jeffrey of St. Louis, Mo. and Laura of West Grove, and six nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother Steven in 1971.

You are invited to visit with Michaelene’s family and friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home (610-869-2685) 200 Rose Hill Rd. West Grove, PA 19390.  Her life celebration service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Lockport, N.Y.
