Jo Mason, 76, of West Grove, died at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital, on Thursday, Dec. 26.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Dorothy Brown Mason.
Jo was a homemaker and she enjoyed, playing cards at Jenner’s Pond, dominoes, bowling Wii, reading, and taking her dogs for a walk and regularly visiting Preston and Rustin buildings, along with her dogs, to make people smile. She was a very strong advocate for dogs, and an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles.
Jo is survived by one brother, Robert E. Mason and his wife Sally of Chadds Ford; two nieces, Deborah Mundy and Robin Ciorrocco, her husband Michael and their children Carrie, Chrissy, Kelly and Anthony, Michael Jr. and his wife Jen and their children, Sophie and Nicholas: a nephew, Thomas Mason and his children, Jennifer, Michael and Wendy, great niece Trista and a second nephew, Robert Mason, Jr. and his wife Lori, many other relatives and friends and two constant companions, Smedley and Zoey.
You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road in West Grove. Her Memorial service will follow. Burial will be private.
The family would like to thank the staff at Seasons Hospice and the staff at Christians Hospital ICU, for the excellent care given to Jo.
