Katherine Virginia Bell, 89, of Kennett Square, died at Pocopson Home on Dec. 19 after years of a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas E. Bell, Jr. of Kennett Square,
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey T. Bell and wife Lisa, of Kennett Square and Richard Haviland and wife Linda of West Chester; a sister, Vesta H. Veak of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren Kathryn, Andrew, Victoria, Juliana and Amanda and great grandchildren Broderick, Gram and Liam.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edwin E. Hollenback III.
An avid antique and collectibles hunter she filled her house with things she loved and also filled her home with the sound of Big Bands and Broadway musicals which had been a lifelong passion and source of joy. She was listening to her favorite music when she passed away.
Services will be private.
