Paradocx Vineyard celebrates 15 years with grand opening new tasting room

Paradocx Vineyard, one of Southern Chester County’s award-winning family owned wineries, will celebrate 15 years of business with the grand opening of a new location where customers can enjoy Paradocx fine wines. Paradocx will open their new location at the “Market at Liberty Place,” located at 148 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA, on Friday, July 12th, 2013.

Paradocx will have a 1,250 square foot presence in the 10,000 square foot Market at Liberty Place, and will host a grand opening celebration on July 12, 2013 starting at 11:00 a.m.  A variety of activities and promotions will be offered during the grand opening celebration of Paradocx at Liberty Place, including: live music starting at 6:00 p.m.; one complimentary sample of Paradocx T-Wine per customer (a white wine blend enlaced with subtle natural tea flavors); a free Paradocx hat to the first 24 customers who order a wine flight; and customers who order one wine flight will receive one complimentary wine flight on their next visit.

After the grand opening celebration, during regular business hours, Paradocx at Liberty Place will host scheduled Friday Happy Hours, featuring live music from various local musicians.  Paradocx wine and cider will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle or in Paradocx’s now famous paint cans, and wine accessories, wine themed attire, local cheeses, and local Neuchatel chocolates will also be offered at this location. Paradocx at Liberty Place will be open for business every Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m.  to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Market at Liberty Place will also be home to an exciting mix of up to 14 other merchants selling freshly prepared foods, produce, and other retail goods, which will complement Paradocx’s 22 wine offerings.  The venue is designed to serve as a gathering place for members of the Kennett Square business community, and residents from the local Kennett Square area and surrounding areas. Patrons can also anticipate a wide range of events throughout the year at the new Liberty Place location, including happy hour specials, live music on the patio, and special wine and food pairing offerings.

“Having a strong presence in our community, and supporting local businesses by serving local foods to accompany our wines, has been an important focus of our family owned company,” said David Hoffman, Co-Owner, Paradocx Vineyard.  “Being a partner in the Market at Liberty Place right here in the Borough of Kennett Square, allows us to work even closer with other business owners, as we support one another in providing consumers with a true local experience.”

An exciting new addition to Paradocx at Liberty Place, includes wine service in “flights,” through the use of a system widely used in other upscale wine bars, the Cruvinet Wine Preserving and Dispensing System.  A cruvinet is a temperature controlled, oxygen-free system that keeps wines as fresh as the moment they are uncorked for up to six weeks, eliminating spoilage and waste. Paradocx’s new cruvinet system will allow up to 24 wines to be served at one time, providing consumers with a wider variety of wine selections in one tasting experience.

Paradocx Vineyard’s home winery is located at 1833 Flint Hill Road, in Landenberg, PA. This location will continue to offer a wide range of activities for wine lovers, including a live summer concert series, private events including weddings and birthday celebrations, and holiday themed events throughout the year.  Details of Paradocx Vineyard’s event offerings can be found at: http://www.paradocx.com/scripts/eventPg.cfm

Paradocx Vineyard’s home winery also serves as host to the exclusive CSA membership opportunity. A CSA is a system in which community members purchase a Traditional "farmer’s share" at the beginning of a growing season, when the farmer needs start-up capital for equipment, seeds, etc.  In return, the member receives an annual supply (2 cases) of  Paradocx wine to be picked up four times per year, and other added bonuses, like free admission to Paradocx’s summer concert series, access to vintner's wines not yet available for public purchase and free wine tastings. The annual cost per share for Paradocx Vineyard wine CSA shares varies from $550-650 based on the type of "shares" the customer selects (whites share, reds share, or vintners share).

Paradocx Vineyard’s location at The Shoppes at Longwood Village in Kennett Square, PA will close this summer, as the company shifts focus to their new location, just 2 miles away, in the Borough of Kennett Square in The Market at Liberty Place.
