Wayne E. Kofke, 63, of Unionville, died Monday, June 3, at his residence.

He was the husband of Patricia Leach Kofke, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of Carole Jones Kofke of Glen Rose, Texas and the late William L. Kofke.

Wayne was a 1967 graduate of Downingtown High School and attended the West Chester University for three years.

He was the owner and operator of Wayne E. Kofke, Inc., a siding company, which he founded in 1972.

Wayne was a member of the Downingtown Country Club, and was an avid golfer.

He enjoyed listening to sports, and being with his family. He was always thinking of and helping others.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Timothy P. Kofke and his wife Emily of Unionville; one daughter, Allison P. Kofke of Unionville; one brother, William Kofke of Guthriesville; one sister, Karen Williams of Glen Rose, Texas, his mother-in-law, Ella Leach of Unionville; a sister-in-law, Judy Leach and her husband Richard Schreep of Unionville.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Route 52 in Mendenhall. His Memorial service will follow. Burial will be private.
