All aboard for business in Delaware County

Members and guests of the Business and Professional Association of Western Delaware County enjoyed a progressive dinner at several locations in the course of the evening Wednesday, May 15.  “Dine Around” is an annual event for the organization.  According to John Lodise, BPA president, “This event is the reason many people join the organization.”

The group gathered at Brandywine Prime in Chadds Ford for cocktails. The happy hour special Italian Pear Martini was a favorite among the group.  Most participants then boarded a bus rented for the occasion. A few chose to drive themselves.

Greeting at Crozer Medical Plaza

First stop was the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake.  Rich Hassold, Assistant Vice President of Real Estate Services, greets Jackie Herb, Sofia Clinger and Sharon Westwood.  Wine and hor d’oeuvres were served.

Dr. Joyann Krozer noted that her name sounds the same but is not spelled the same as the Medical Plaza and said that she “didn’t own the place.” Krozer is one of nine physicians in Crozer Gastroenterology Associates. The facility provides direct access for screening colonoscopies. The medical group focuses on making a procedure that some people dread simple to arrange and painless as possible.

Second stop was Pennsylvania State Representative Stephen Barrar’s new office on Route 202 at Beaver Creek Road .  Salads by Christine Marie’s Catering were served. Barrar said the building was once a tavern  “and it may become one again when I retire.”

Barrar hopped on the bus to the next stop at Pescatore’s Italian Restaurant. The main course was a buffet sponsored by Sofia Clinger, Countryside Coiffures, and Larry Ferriola, Concord Auto Body.

The group boarded once more to go  back to Brandywine Prime for dessert.  Michael Majewski, Managing Partner of Brandywine Prime, poses with Sharon Westwood of Garnet Ford and Suzanne Williamson of Prudential Fox Roach Realtors.
