Barbara Graff Fetters of Glen Mills

Barbara Graff Fetters, 71, of Glen Mills, died May 18.

A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Barbara was born in Upper Darby and grew up in Media on Maple Linden Farm where she spent many days mowing lawns. She was in the first graduating class from Penncrest High School. She worked at Elwyn many years as a counselor where she retired in 2003 after more than 25 years of service. Always the caregiver, she spent much of her time devoted to her family.

She was the daughter of the late Frances G. Fetters and sister of the late Susan DiAmbrosio. She is survived by her father Howard K. Fetters  of Wilmington, and her brother Howard K. Fetters, Jr. and his wife Agnesanne Mathis of Kennett Square, her daughter Sharon Price and son John Price of Glen Mills, as well as her five grandchildren Kyle Lawrence Price, Tyler Howard Patton, John Hunter Price, Shane Barry Gibson and Pierce Thomas Gibson.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street in Kennett Square. Her funeral service will follow. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Greenpeace Fund Inc. 702 H Street NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20001.
