James B. White, 72, of West Grove, died Monday, April 29, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. He was the husband of Sarann Dougherty White, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.
Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late William and Essie Eastburn White.
Jim was a lab technician for the DuPont Co. in Wilmington, for 31 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the reunion committee for the USS Randolf.
He enjoyed traveling, his Pygmy goats and being with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, James K. White and his wife Kelly of Bel Air, Md.; one daughter, Christine Marrs of Manheim; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Service and burial will be private.
