Wanda China of Kennett Square

Wanda China, 89, of Kennett Square, died Thursday, March 28, at Crosslands. She was the wife of Victor China, who died in 2003, and with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Born In New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Mary Pezzaro Bellotti.

She was a teacher and taught in New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Italy. She received her business degree in 1943 from the Grace Institute, her bachelor’s degree in education in 1948 from Hunter College and her masters in education in 1989 from West Chester University.

She was member of St. Patrick’s Church, the Ladies of St. Patrick’s and was a member and volunteer at the Kennett Area Senior Center. She also volunteered at Longwood Gardens.

Wanda has friends and relatives in the United States and Italy, and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

You may visit with her family and friends from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, April 4, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her Funeral service will follow. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Kennett Square.
