School again scores big from art sale

It was another successful year for the Chadds Ford Elementary School Art Sale and Show. More than 1,000 people passed through the art-filled gymnasium/auditorium buying more than $70,000 worth of art, with 30 percent of that gross going to the PTO for educational enrichment programs. Business association endorses trail grant application

The Chadds Ford Business Association is supporting Chadds Ford Township’s effort to apply for a grant that would pay for a feasibility study for pedestrian crossings as part of the planned Harvey Run Trail. • Pennsylvania State Police have charged a 37-year-old Camden, N.J. man with robbing four banks, including the Iron Workers’ Bank in Chadds Ford Township.
