We protest the amount of the U.S. discretionary budget that is used for military purposes.  The sign we held in front of the Chester County Courthouse Saturday March 2 shows in red the amount of money spent by the Pentagon.
Pentagon budgets doubled from 1998-2010, and after a decade of massive spending increases, it's time for the Pentagon budget to return to pre-war levels and adjust needs to 21st century threats.
Analysts from across the political spectrum have offered concrete options for cutting $1 trillion or more from the pentagon over the next decade without harming U.S. security.
Real security is dependent on top notch education for all our children, advanced training for our future work-force, health care food, and housing for those in need.
This link will enable you to tell your elected officials your opinion on the budget.
