Why on Earth do we need a Wegman's? We already have two very nice upper end grocery stores in The Fresh Market and Whole Foods. With Hill's Seafood also in the Brinton's Lake corridor, the excess competition has started to show.

It makes no sense to starve everyone out of business, especially since many shoppers (me included) do our specialty shopping at the upper end stores and rely on Giant or Acme for the every day items.
