Police log Jan. 3

• Close to $1,000 worth of bras were stolen from Victoria’s Secret on Route 1 sometime between Dec. 10 and Dec. 17, according to police. The report said 20 bras, valued at $49.50 each, were taken. No merchandise has been recovered and there is no surveillance video available. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 484-840-1000.

• Pennsylvania State Police are investigating two incidents of retail theft at the DSW store in Concord Township. Police are looking for a white Hispanic woman in connection with the thefts. According to a report, the women entered the store on Dec. 21 and Dec. 27 and stole more than $1,700 worth of shoes. The report said the suspect is believed to have committed the same offense in Delaware.

• A barking dog and an alarm apparently scared off a would-be burglar in Chadds Ford Township on Dec. 20. Police said someone forced entry into a home in the 300 block of Ridge Road, but the noise scared the suspect away before anything was taken. The incident happened at 11:35 a.m.

• Someone broke into the new Brüggemann Chemical office on Route 1 in Chadds Ford Township and stole several electronic articles, police said. The burglary occurred sometime between 3 p.m. on Dec. 19 and 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 20.

• An unknown white male is being sought in connection with the theft of a radio from a truck parked at Harry Tillman’s Automotive on Route 202 in Concord Township. Police said the suspect smashed the passenger side window and took the radio valued at $550. Surveillance video showed the suspect wearing a red jacket or sweatshirt, jeans and a grey hat.

• A 46-year-old man from Media was taken into custody on DUI charges at 2:18 a.m. on Dec. 22. Police did not identify the individual, but said troopers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle — a 2003 Honda Accord — at Route 202 near Concord Towing. Once on the scene, responding troopers determined the operator was under the influence of alcohol.

• State police are looking for two white men, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall in connection with a theft at David Dodge on Route 202. A report said the two stole four wheels from a 2013 Chrysler 300S about 3 a.m. on Dec. 19.
