Catherine Kavanaugh Massey, 53, of Phoenixville, formerly of Kennett Square, died Sunday, Nov. 25, at the Jefferson University Hospital. She was the wife of Michael C. Massey, with whom she shared 7-and-a-half years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Janet Rash Suter of Kennett Square, and the late William F. Kavanaugh.
Cathy attended the Presbyterian Church of Kennett Square.
She was a homemaker and she enjoyed crocheting, needlework and being with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one brother, William E. Kavanaugh of Kennett Square; one sister, Sandra K. Bahel of Kennett Square, one half-sister, Helen Kavanaugh Markland of Cheyenne, Wyo. and six nieces and one nephew.
