Harry Miller of Landenberg

Harry Miller, 73, of Landenberg, died Saturday, Oct. 6, at his residence.

He was the husband of Fleeta Marsh Miller, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage.

Born in Upper Darby, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Broadbent Miller.

Harry was employed as a firefighter at Boeing in Ridley Park, for 30 years, retiring in 1994.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 566 in Glenolden. He served his country in the U S Air Force during the Vietnam era.

Harry loved all sports, especially football. He was an excellent softball player, swimmer and diver. He was also a lover of trains.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Miriam Coco and her husband Thomas of Philadelphia, Kathleen Miller of Philadelphia, Doris Miller Pusloski and her  husband Nicholas of Blackwood, N.J. and Paula  Miller and her fiancé Darren Pestacchi of Philadelphia; one step-son, James Smith of West Grove; one step-daughter, Sheryl Solberg and her husband Erik of Flagstaff, Ariz.; one brother, William Miller of Aldan; 2 granddaughters and six step-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one brother, Robert Miller.

You are invited to visit with Harry’s family and friends from 10 to 11 on Saturday morning, Oct. 13, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street in Kennett Square. His Memorial service will follow. Burial will be private.
