Mary H. Hoobler of Jenners Pond

Mary H. Hoobler died peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 6.

Mary was graduated from Bryn Mawr College. She taught briefly in the Unionville Chadds Ford School District, was active in the Upland Mothers Club Association and worked extensively with Spanish in the public schools during the 1960s.

She and her husband the late Dr. James L. Hoobler retired to Siesta Key, Sarasota, Fla. in 1989, living at Jenner’s Pond in West Grove, in the north.

She is survived by her son James L. Hoobler (Sharon) of Haddonfield, N.J. and her daughter Elizabeth H. Eblacker (John) of Downingtown; as well as five granddaughters.

Services and interment are private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to: Neighborhood Hospice, 400 East Marshall Street, West Chester, PA  19380.
