Child found on Route 202

Update: Police report the child's parents have been found.

Pennsylvania State Police from Troop K, Media barracks, are trying to learn the identity of a boy about 3 years old who was found in the center lane of Route 202 south bound near Beaver valley Road. A passing motorist saw the boy in the road at 1:52 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2. The boy was uninjured and released to the care of the Delaware County Child and Youth Services.

According to a police report, the motorist retrieved the boy from the street and drove to Wawa where police were called. The child is unaware of his own name and address. The boy is described as black, with thick curly hair and wearing coral colored jeans cut off at the knee and a white T-shirt with the words, “Boldin 3rd Anniversary.” The report also described him as being clean, including the bottoms of his feet.
