Rebecca “Polly” Miller Richardson, 75, of West Grove, died
Wednesday, April 25, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the wife of
Clarke Richardson, who died in 1995, and with whom she shared 10 years of
marriage.
Born in Ashe County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late
Ray A. and Ola Wilcox Miller.
Polly was a retired assembler at Hewlett-Packard in
Avondale.
She was a member of the Apple Grove Baptist Church in
Lansing, N.C., and attended the Kennett Square Bible Methodist Church. She
loved to sing, and sang in both of the church choirs. She loved all types of
music and enjoyed playing her guitar and singing.
Polly enjoyed travelling, and going to Nashville, and the
beach. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by two brothers, Ray Miller, Jr. “June” and
Elmer L. Miller and his wife Evelyn, all of Kennett Square; two sisters,
Juanita “Wanda” Kirk and Dare Kelly and her husband Kirk, all of Kennett Square;
four nieces, Sandra Peirson, Sibil Poppiti, Kelly Miller and a special niece,
Kathy Zunino, who helped take care of her; three nephews, Dennis Miller, Tony
Miller and A special nephew, Vincent Kilpatrick.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Nieda Roop and Carleen
Witt.
Polly’s family would like to thank Christina Tackett for the
special care that she gave Polly, during the last few months.

9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home,
250 West State Street, Kennett Square, (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral
service will follow. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square.
