Virgilio Pabon, 59, of Oxford, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, at
the Jennersville Regional Hospital. He was the husband of Evangelia
Morales Poban, with whom he shared over 30 years of marriage.
Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late
Silvano and Leonarda Garcia Pabon.
In his earlier years he worked in the construction industry.
He enjoyed music and working on cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons,
Virgilio Pabon, Jr., Bruce Lee Pabon, Marco Garcia and Andre Pabon; three
daughters, Maria Ann Pabon, Gloriby Garcia and Lissette Garcia; four brothers,
Cecilio Garcia, Gabriel Pabon, Juan Antonio Morales and Rogelio Morales; four sisters,
Aida Garcia, Carmen Lidia Garcia, Aminia Pabon and Evelyn Morales; 22
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10
a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Iglesia Pentecostal Pena Inconmovible
Church, 716 Market Street, Oxford. His funeral service will follow. Burial will
be in Oxford Cemetery.
