Ben S. Cook of Kennett Square

Ben S. Cook, 82, of Kennett Square, died peacefully in his
sleep from a cardiac arrest on Saturday, Nov. 26, at Kendal at Crosslands in
Kennett Square.

Mr. Cook was born on July 23, 1929 to Irving and Mary Cook
of Avondale. He attended Avon Grove High School and Delaware Technical
Community College. Ben spent all of his 82 years in Chester County. In
his early years, Ben delivered for Bond Bread, later working for Mushroom
Transportation and retiring from Lankford-Sysco.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Harris Cook
of Kennett Square as well as his children: Dennis Cook of Toughkennamon, Thomas
Cook and wife Bonnie of Lancaster and Sandy Brackin of Landenberg. Surviving
grandchildren are, Sherry Silva (Chris), Michelle McConnell (Josh), Tom Cook
(Dana), Kelli Hitchens (Chris), Dennis Cook (Karen), Kyle Hitchens (Amy),
Brandon Cook and Kory Hitchens (Jamie). Surviving great-grandchildren
are, Maddie, Nick, Jake, Liam, Tyler and Samantha.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Thursday, Dec.
1, from 9-11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at West Grove United Methodist
Church, 300 N. Guernsey Rd., West Grove. Interment will be private.

United Methodist Church at 300 N. Guernsey Rd., West Grove PA 19390.
