Harvey J. Crossan, 57, of Avondale, died
Tuesday Nov. 1, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. He was the husband of Theresa A. Crossan,
with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.

Born in Wilmington, he was a son of the late
Richard M. Crossan and Ida Grady Crossan who lives in West Grove.

Harvey graduated from Salesianum School Class
of 1972 in Wilmington and Kings College Class of 1976 in Wilkes-Barre. He was owner and President of Richard
M. Crossan Inc. in Avondale which was founded by his father in 1946. His employees knew him to be a generous
and understanding friend and employer.

He was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic
Church in West Grove. Harvey was
very involved in the community, especially with the Mushroom Festival in
Kennett Square where he was an active board member. He was a sports enthusiast, enjoying football, baseball, golf
and hockey. Harvey looked forward
to an annual get together with his college friends in the mountains, “The
Unexpected Party.”

Harvey will be remembered as a simple man,
who worked hard, appreciated his friends, and adored his family.

Survivors include in addition to his wife and
mother, children and grandchildren: Bryan and Kim Crossan of New London and
their children Sophia, Nathan, and Averie, Dana L. Crossan of Brooklyn N.Y.,
Lori and Anthony Argiroudis of Wilmington and their son George, Jennifer and
Vincent Basciani of Toughkenamon and their children Vinnie and Lucy, Nicholas
and Laura Toto of Lincoln University and Allison Toto of Newark; two brothers, Michael and Carolanne
Crossan of Dallas, Texas, and Richard and Theresa Crossan of Media; two
sisters, Catherine and Anthony Flynn, and Marie and John Flynn both of
Wilmington.

You are invited to visit with Harvey’s family
from 6-9 p.m. Sunday Nov. 6, and from 10-11 a.m., Monday Nov. 7 at Assumption
BVM Catholic Church, 300 State Rd., West Grove. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m.
Monday. Interment will be in St.
Patrick Cemetery in Kennett Square.
