June Elizabeth Baker Minor

June Elizabeth Baker Minor died Wednesday, Sept. 28, after a
lengthy and courageous battle with breast cancer. She died peacefully at home,
surrounded by family.

She was born on June 7, 1931 in Avondale, the third daughter
of the late Isaiah and Lydia Baker. She attended the public schools of the
Avon-Grove School District and spent the last 25 years in New Castle. She was a
faithful member of the Church of Christ, Kelton,.

Affectionately known as Little Bits, she thoroughly enjoyed
cooking desserts such as coconut cake and deep dish apple pie and sharing them
with her friends and family. She treasured her devoted, rambunctious dog,
Trixie.

She is survived by Earl Minor, Sr., her dedicated husband of
63 years, her three sons and their wives: Earl Jr. and Maurisa, Gary Allen and
Lisa and Jay Russell and Teresa; her two daughters Carolyn Stokes and Christine
Peebles and husband Allen; four brothers: Isaiah Baker, Jr. ( Elizabeth),
Robert Edward (Laura, deceased), Richard Alexander and Donald Lee (Margie); she
was predeceased by her infant brother James; three sisters: Anna Mae
Anderson (William), Frances Reid (Alfred) and Evelyn Dandy (J. Alphonso). She
also leaves to mourn, her 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 and
Home-going Celebration 11:30 a.m. at Cedars Church of Christ, 511 Greenbank
Road, Wilmington. Burial at Philadelphia Memorial Park, 124 Phoenixville Pike,
Frazer, PA.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to
Compassionate Care Hospice, 702B Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
