George T. Mace of Kelton

George T. Mace 83, of Kelton,
and a life long resident of the West Grove area, died Thursday, Aug. 4, at his
residence. He was the husband of Betty Gilbert Mace, who passed away in 2005,
and with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in West Grove, he was the
son of the late Thomas G. and Emma Keen Mace.

He was a Mechanic for Trans
Materials in Kennett Square, retiring in 1998.

He served his country in the US
Army, during the Korean conflict.

He was a member of Teamsters Local
No. 771 in Lancaster, and was a member of American Legion Post No. 194 in
Rising Sun, Md., and the VFW in Kennett Square.

George enjoyed working on small
engines, hunting, shooting pool and playing checkers.

His greatest joy was working on
old tractors

He is survived by two sons,
Larry E. Wilson and his wife Gladys of Little Britain, and James T. Mace of
West Grove; one daughter, Patricia A. Negron of West Grove and one
granddaughter, Candice E. Negron of Maui, Hawaii.

You are invited to visit with
his family and friends from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Foulk &
Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, (Phone: 610-869-2685). His
funeral service will follow at 11:00. Burial will be in New London Presbyterian
Church Cemetery, Route 896, New London.
