Mary Lou Perrone of Avondale

Mary Lou Perrone, 74, of
Avondale, died July 26. She was the wife of Albert F. Perrone, who died in
1997, and with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

Born in Wilmington, she was the
daughter of the late Eugene and Catherine McKinney Regener.

Mary Lou was a machine operator
at Springer’s Machine Shop in Avondale, retiring in 2003, after 15 years of
service.

She was a member of St. Gabriel
of the Sorrowful Mother Church in Avondale.

She enjoyed playing Bingo,
reading, listening to her son’s band on Wednesday nights, and being with her
family and friends.

Mary Lou is survived by four
sons, Albert F. Perrone, Jr. and his girlfriend Dianne of Newark, Anthony J.
Perrone and his wife Margie of Waterford, Conn., Angelo J. Perrone and his
friend Donna of Newark, and Arthur M. Perrone and his wife Cheryl of
Toughkenamon; one daughter, Mary Jean Callahan and her husband Brian of
Warwick, Md.; one brother, Eugene Regener of Wilmington; three sisters, Dolores
Henry of Wilmington, Kathleen Spiroff of Tempe, Ariz. and Peggy Vannicola of
Odessa, Del.; eleven darling grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son
Andrew Perrone.

You are invited to visit with
her family and friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday evening, July 31, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home,
250 West State Street, Kennett Square, (Phone: 610-444-4116), and again from 10-11
a.m. on Monday morning, Aug. 1, at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother
Church, 8910 Gap Newport Pike (Route 41), Avondale. Her Funeral Mass will
follow. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square.
