Marguerite Bailey Crossan of Landenberg

Marguerite Bailey Crossan, 89, of Landenberg, died Thursday,
June 2, at the Chester County Hospital. She was the wife of Kenneth Crossan,
with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

Born in Landenberg, she was the daughter of the late George
B. and Marguerite Martin Bailey.

She was a homemaker extraordinaire. She was beloved by many,
and devoted her life to nurturing her family and serving others.

Marguerite was a life member of the Landenberg United
Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son,
Kenneth G. Crossan and his wife Patti of New London; two daughters, Linda E.
Grugan and her husband Larry of Avondale, and Candace C. Crossan of Landenberg;
one brother, Rodger Bailey of Glen Mills; two sisters, Phyllis Martin of West
Chester, and Madeline Woodworth of Boothwyn, , six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

Her viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday evening, June
6, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett
Square, (Phone: 610-444-4157) and you may also visit with the family from 10-11
a.m., Tuesday, June 7, at the Landenberg United Methodist Church, 205 Penn
Green Road, Landenberg. Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will
be in the New London Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Route 896, New London.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the
American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 700, Philadelphia,
PA 19103.
