Regina Victoria Llewellyn of West Chester

Regina Victoria Llewellyn, 88, of West Chester, died Friday,
May 13, at Park Lane at Bellingham, West Chester.

Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Peter
Socoloski and the late Victoria Lubretska.

Regina was a career registered nurse for 40 years, a career
that started in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in 1944, during which time she served
in the Pacific Theater in the Philippines and Japan. She earned her Nurse
Practitioner’s Certificate in Geriatrics in the 1970s. At retirement in 1984,
she was night supervisor at Lockport Memorial Hospital in Lockport, N.Y.

Among Regina’s many accomplishments, she was a member of
MENSA, she was an avid golfer and a Bridge player. Her Bridge hobby began
in earnest after retirement, when she joined the ACLB and attained the level of
Director of her own game that she held weekly in West Chester, along with
weekly classes for new Bridge players.

Regina is pre-deceased by her husband of 31 years, Thomas E.
Llewellyn of Shamokin, and one son Steven T. Llewellyn of Lockport, N.Y.

Regina is survived by one brother, Franklin Socoloski of
Lancaster, and two sisters, Anna Pawlicki of Coal Township, and Clare Haddock
of Columbia. She is also survived by one son, William D. Llewellyn of San Jose,
Calif., and three daughters, Michaelene P. Llewellyn of West Chester, Kathleen
M. Llewellyn of St. Louis, Mo., and Laura A. Llewellyn of West Grove. Her
grandchildren are Caitlin, G. Stevenson of St. Louis, Mo., Thomas P. Wehrle of
West Grove, Jamie G. Llewellyn of San Jose, Calif., T.J. Wehrle of West Grove, and
Nicola A. Wehrle of West Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews and their
respective offspring.

You are invited to visit with Regina’s family and friends
from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200
Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA (610-869-2685), and again on Thursday, May 19, from
1-3 p.m. Her funeral service will follow at 3:00. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American
Lung Association or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
