Mary E. Carroll, 63, of West Grove, died a Saturday, May 14,
at her residence. She was the wife of Raymond J. Carroll, with whom she shared
41 years of marriage.
Born in Cheyenne, Wy., she is the daughter of Jean Marshino
Hackett of Garnet Valley, and the late Henry Hackett.
She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church in
Unionville.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, being with her
family and friends and her biggest joy was helping others. She was the family
party planner and hostess.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by one son,
Raymond J. Carroll, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Pleasant Gap; three daughters,
Lori Carroll of Woodlyn, Jennifer Roth and her husband Steve of North Bellmore,
N.Y. and Kathryn Hipkins and her husband Doug of West Grove; one brother, James
Hackett of Media; five sisters, Martha Zontek of West Grove, Bernice Hindle of
Garnet Valley, Sue Miele of Georgia, Theresa Constable of Lewes, De. and
Sarah Roman of Peach Bottom, and twelve grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one brother, Paul Hackett.

p.m., Wednesday, May 18, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State
Street, Kennett Square, (Phone: 610-444-4116). Her funeral service will be at
10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 109 East Doe Run
Road (& Route 82), Unionville, PA. Burial will be private.
