Mansion makeover in Chadds Ford

Twenty-four interior decorators and seven landscapers have collaborated to turn Stone Bridge mansion into a showplace.  The event is reminiscent of the Vassar Showhouse which staged its last event in 2006.

Stone Bridge is open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm daily and until 7 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays through May 30.  A cafe and boutique are opened on the premises for visitors. Stone Bridge is located on the corner of Webb Road and Route 1 in Chadds Ford.

Tina Skinner, the managing director, is pleased with the end result and with the community response.  Over 350 people attended the opening this week.  Skinner wonders how they will top the magnificent property of Stone Bridge, but she is already thinking about next year.

Proceeds from admissions benefit the Oxford Art Alliance.
